Wow! My March flight deals from Going

Having been to 87 countries and 7 continents, people always assume that I’m broke, in debt, or that it’s expensive… and they couldn’t be more wrong. There are so many ways to travel cheaper, but today’s blog topic is one of my favorite ways to save money on flights. (And its super easy!)

Going is a service that finds you deals, and sends them straight to your inbox. Yep, you don’t have to do anything! You can wake up to an email alert with $400 flights to Greece or Italy, no research involved. Your next move? Just go.

Egypt flights for cheap? Yes Please!!

Round trip to Lisbon for under $400? Whoa!

You want to know how it works, don’t you?

First, you start by choosing your home airport. Currently, your home airport has to be in the US, St. Thomas, Guam, or Puerto Rico. I have mine set to Detroit (my home airport) but also major airports that I can easily get to, such as Chicago, New York airports, and DC.

Second, you watch your email. They keep a close eye on airfare to over 900 destinations around the world. When the prices drop, you will know. My e-mail had over 75 deals in it during the month of March.

Going doesn’t send last minute, 3+ layover, budget airline type of flights. Most are 2-9 months in advance, and with routes that make sense on well rated airlines.

There are a few membership tiers: a free limited membership, a premium membership for $49/year, or the elite membership for $199 a year. Which one is right for you? Check out their handy chart here.

Here are some of the deals that came to my inbox this month. Check out those cities, and chest out those prices! The usual price is next to the deal price… can we say WOW?!
