Oceania

Home to Australia, New Zealand, and thousands of gorgeous islands.

Antarctica

Antarctica is the most southern continent. It is also the world’s highest, driest, windiest, coldest, and iciest continent. Only available to tourists by cruise, and should be on everyone’s bucket list. It was a trip of a lifetime. 

Africa

Home to 54 countries. The continent has unique cultures and heritages and it is full of unbelievably beautiful and awe inspiring places to visit. It is my favorite continent. From deserts to safaris, and beautiful beaches that many don’t realize are there, Africa should be a top travel destination for everyone at least once. 

Asia

The world’s largest continent, and home to 48 countries. From the Middle East, to China, or the Himalayas to the gorgeous, extremely affordable islands in the South East, there are so many fascinating cultures all around. Timing for good weather is especially essential for this continent.

Europe

Home to 44 countries, and a great continent to visit easily from America. You can travel within Europe cheaply via train or bus, too. Winding rivers, awe inspiring fjords, and gorgeous mountains are just the beginning of what to see. The small winding colorful streets can be mesmerizing, the architecture is like poetry, and the festivals aren’t to be missed. The cruises are amazing too, whether on the Baltic, Mediterrean, or even the Danube river. Walking down the street, you hear many different languages.

South America

Home of 17 countries, insane mountains, and beautiful beaches. It is also the gateway to Antarctica! It is such a vibrant and colorful continent, and can be very affordable. Also check out the wine regions! Patagonia is breathtaking, and the street art in Valparaiso is inspiring. And the empanadas? Delicious! The alpacas on Machu Picchu make you forget about how hard that Inca Trail trek was, too. 

North America

Our home continent! From the United States and Canada, to Central America and the Caribbean, there are 23 countries and many territories to explore. If you’re American, there are so many fascinating cultures to see, without traveling too far from home.
